Poole driving lessons

Driveawaypoole is a new driving school based at Poole Quay in Dorset. Simon Wootton runs the DRIVEAWAY school of motoring.  He has been a qualified driving instructor for several years and has had many years teaching, both driving and as a sports coach. In his younger days, he played professional cricket for Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.

He knows the area well, has grown up children and years of experience of meeting and helping people of all ages. Together with his wife he runs Poole Boat Charters which operates from Poole Quay.

Simon believes in teaching people to drive ‘for life’ not just to pass the test. He is extremely calm and never gets cross. Lessons are tailored to the individual as some pupils pick up the skills quicker than others. If you can progress quickly, Simon will not hold you back; however if you find it more challenging, Simon will help you gain confidence.
